Landscape Designer
HDLA, an award-winning design firm, is looking for a creative landscape designer to join our office in Jackson, WY. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join our talented team of designers in an open, studio environment. We seek creative individuals that are passionate about the profession, self-directed and have an interest in living in a small, engaged community in one of the most beautiful regions of the country.
HDLA’s portfolio includes large ranch, rural and estate properties, private residential, mixed-use developments, National Park Service projects and affordable housing developments. Our work is focused in the Intermountain West and is rooted in a deep understanding of the culture and character of the surrounding landscape. As a firm we invest in design excellence, exceptional client service, community connection and professional and personal development of our staff.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses the following experience and skills:
Experience: Entry level to 3 years of professional office experience.
Education: BLA and/or MLA in Landscape Architecture.
Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD / LandFX, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup and Office Suite is required. Knowledge and experience with Lumion is a plus.
Comfort and knowledge in working through all phases of the design process from concept design through construction detailing and construction observation. Technical grading and construction detailing skills are a plus.
Detail oriented.
Strong written, verbal and graphic communication skills.
